How to Report an ICT Security Incident or Threat Within University of Malaya
When an ICT security incident is discovered it must be reported immediately to the UMCert at ictsecurity@um.edu.my. Please specify your report with detail information :
- Name
- Phone Number
- Faculty/Center
- Incident Location
- Incident Date & Time
- Incident Detail
An ‘ICT security incident’ is defined as:
'Any event (actual or threatened), which may cause damage to the confidentiality, integrity or availability of University of Malaya information assets, or which is in breach of UM ICT security policies.’
